From January 15 to the end of March 2026, Maison ARCHIK Paris hosts L’ÉCRIN, an immersive exhibition conceived by artist-designer Marie Jeunet in collaboration with Casamance. Envisioned as an ode to material and light, this distinctive scenography brings luminous sculptures, exceptional textiles, and artisanal craftsmanship into dialogue, within a hybrid space where architecture, art, and design naturally converge.
Passionate about the decorative arts and the world of high jewelry, Marie Jeunet conceives her works as true interior jewels. At the crossroads of art and design, her practice highlights precious materials glass, brass, and stone which she elevates through plays of transparency, reflections, and shadows. Each piece showcases the nobility of the materials and the precision of the gesture, striking a subtle balance between rigor and sensitivity.

At the heart of the scenography, Casamance accompanies this sensitive exploration of material. The Menaggio taffeta, with its subtle golden-brown sheen and a drape that is both crisp and refined, emerges as the guiding thread of the exhibition. Used in spectacular draperies, it captures the light, reveals its nuances, and envelops the space in a precious atmosphere, echoing the artist’s jewelry-inspired aesthetic.

The execution of the set design was entrusted to Relax Factory, an upholstery workshop renowned for its craftsmanship. Architectural draperies, enveloping lines, and suspended volumes transform the gallery into a true sculptural setting, where textiles unfold from wall to ceiling. Fabric thus becomes an integral part of the narrative, structuring the space and guiding the eye from one work to the next.

For L’ÉCRIN, the artist presents a collection of original creations developed in collaboration with exceptional artisans. A patinated brass mirror by the Yszé studio reveals a vibrant oxidized texture, while travertine lamps crafted by Choham from repurposed offcuts unveil an unexpected translucency. Hand-blown glass candleholders by glassmaker Matthieu Gicquel evoke mineral geodes, and a centerpiece made of glass petals, designed by Claire Pegis, extends the organic poetry of the iconic Bloom chandelier.
At the intersection of art, design, and exceptional textiles,
the exhibition offers a sensorial immersion into a refined,
deeply poetic, and resolutely contemporary universe.
