Casamance featured in Marie Jeunet’s “L’Écrin”

At the crossroads of art and design, L’Écrin is an exhibition conceived by artist-designer Marie Jeunet and presented at Maison ARCHIK in Marseille, from April 11 through the end of June 2025. A poetic interlude where each piece is revealed as an interior jewel.

Passionate about jewelry and the decorative arts, Marie Jeunet has developed a distinctive approach: her minimalist sculptures come to life through the interplay of light and the materials they are made of, revealing both sensitivity and precision. Through this exhibition, the artist explores the connections between art, design, and textile craftsmanship.

To enhance her creations, Marie Jeunet chose to collaborate with Casamance, a renowned name in exceptional fabric design. The MENAGGIO fabric MENAGGIO, a taffeta with golden bronze reflections serves as the central thread of the scenography. Its deep shades of brown and gold, achieved through yarn-dyeing prior to weaving, resonate with the brass pieces on display, creating a soft and elegant harmony.

The staging was designed by the upholstery workshops of Relax Factory, long-standing partners of Maison ARCHIK. Expertly arranged drapery, interplay of light, and noble materials create a textile setting that envelops the exhibition in a soft, warm atmosphere.

The Casamance x Marie Jeunet collaboration will continue in January 2026 with the installation of the L’Écrin exhibition in Archik’s Paris showroom. L’Écrin dans le showroom parisien d’Archik.
