Chimérique

This Italian-made jacquard is inspired by the artwork of Otto Freundlich, German master of color and a pioneer of abstract art. On a base with a repeated combination of bronze, ivory and carbon, planes of color, whether Celadon Blue, Terracotta, Misia Blue or Arabesque (orange) extend their abstract shapes. The weft is narrow in some parts, thicker in others and the weaves are dense, in lines or stitches, contributing to this very refined and textual look. The rhythm of the shapes and colors is an ode to harmony, which can be used to its best advantage for standard-use seating or other decorative pieces, such as cushions.
