Sawubona

Created using a wide range of yarns, “Sawubona” is an iridescent and bright embroidery with vibrant colours. “Sawubona” is the greeting of the people of Natal. More than a simple hello, it is a reverence, a special word to let the other person shine, through their qualities, subtleties and differences. On a cotton cloth, the colours combine in gorgeous kaleidoscopes, to reflect the beauty of this gesture.
