Samare

In botany, a samara is a seed. It is winged, which allows it to spin down from the tree. The seed uses the air and the wind to move. On a linen and cotton base, the “samare” (the French for samara) is printed and then over-embroidered in places with a pearly yarn, highlighting its graceful movement.
