Casamance explores the Brazilian modernism of the 1950s. This movement established an aesthetic where the simplicity of the lines harmonised with the originality of the materials. A partnership of cultural history and nature, the modernism movement places importance on local resources, which are crafted and often sculpted. It has inspired MODERNISMO, a collection of soft curves and sensual lines, designed around a study of materials: wood, linen, foliage, raffia.
